Why Tallow?
Tallow is a powerhouse ingredient that is full of bioavailable vitamins and healthy fats that help heal and restore your skin. It helps with cellular turnover, collagen rebuilding, firming, tightening, repairing, healing, balancing oil production, reducing breakouts and inflammation - and so much more!
What's in it?
We take our organic, grass fed and finished beef tallow (that comes from small farms focused on sustainability!) and mix it with Morrocan oil. This increases the absorption rate and works to give you even more skin perfecting healthy fats - it's known to improve skin elasticity, prevent moisture loss and fight free radicals!
We also use a non-nano zinc oxide which gives reef-safe, broad spectrum mineral sun protection.
Will this block pores?
No! Tallow melts into your skin and works in the dermal layer to heal and nourish your skin, unlike traditional foundations which sit on top of your skin, blocking pores, which leads to breakouts and irritation.
How do I pick my color?
Use the color chart on the product page and pick whichever color looks closest to your skin tone. The W next to the number stands for warm, so it has a pinker base. The C stands for cool, so it has a yellower base. The N stands for neutral, so if you are not too warm or cool, you can pick a nuetral base tone.
Remember - these are sheer so one shade matches many skin tones. If you need help matching - send us a message (DM @gingerlilytallow or email hello@gingerlilytallow) and we will have our makeup artist make a recommendation.
What happens if I pick the wrong shade?
No worries! We don't want you keeping anything you don't love, so just send us an email and we will give you a return label to send it back for a refund or replacement.
